After all of the time from this past week I've finally finished my draft for my topic: Afghan Women's Rights and Responsibilities. This past week has been really stressful and I'm relieved that I actually pulled it off. The main thing that I feel confident in my draft is the facts. I had to go and sort through my facts to decide what would be best to go in my paper and what would be better just to leave out. I had some cites that weren't really credible and had to find more. I learned that using Google Scholar is a great thing to do if you're looking for articles and what not. The main thing that I'm concerned about for my paper is my conclusion paragraph and my thesis statement. But my thesis statement and my conclusion would be easy to fix by just going to the Writing Center.
I like how Jill corrected my paper and gave me her ideas of what should be done and what should be taken out. I plan on using her thoughts and changing up the things that need to be corrected for my final draft. What I need to focus on is making my thesis sound right by making it concise. Another thing that I need to do is making my topic connect to my thesis a bit more.
Great post, Azzie. I like the word choice!
