Reading & Working Times -
90 mins on reading
30 mins on cover letter
One big idea that we discussed were the characters doing what ever they had to do to get done. All of the characters in the book were self-willed into doing what they needed to do to get what they pleased. For example, Macbeth killed people, in fact he was a killing machine. Every character had an ambition almost to get something. Macbeth's ambition was that he wanted to be king, in fact Macbeth killed Duncan because his wife, Lady Macbeth urged him into doing it. He later killed Banquo.
Macbeth planned to have someone kill Fleance and Banquo, but they only got to killing Banquo. Banquo's ghost made him look crazy to the other people and didn't have him in his sane state that he once was in. Macbeth later killed himself because the guilt took a huge toll on him and no one thought that he was a sane man anymore.

Reading Times: 120 mins of The Help
First Witch: All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!
Second Witch: All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!Third Witch: All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!
One quote that I found that was interesting was the quote above. To me, this quote is present throughout the book. This quote is what the three witches told Macbeth. And in a way they were all right. Macbeth was the Thane of glamis as the first witch predicted. Macbeth is now presently Thane of Cawdor. He waits to be king....
"A drum, a drum! Macbeth doth come!"
Another quote from the book was This quote was from Scene 3 Act 1. One of the three witches was alerting the other witches that Macbeth was coming. This was the start of Macbeth's journey and it showed his near death. Macbeth was left dumbfounded by the three witches fate for him and was stressing about what these witches were talking about.

Reading Times and Free Post
Anastasia's Secret: 120 mins
My spring break consisted of just sleeping and eating. All I mostly did was sleep and watch Netflix all day and eat. For Easter my mom made this pasta that everybody just loved. Its one of her secret recipes. She basically makes this pasta with cream of mushroom, crawfish, and shrimp. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. She only makes it for special events though. Like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and my birthday(:
I also worked on my world history project. We had to read a book and write a 2 page summary about it. Then we had to choose from a long list of what we wanted to do. I chose the picture book one. I actually had fun with it and it turned out better than I thought it would. It took me a long time to actually finish the book since it was spring break and my mind was just telling me "no azzie. relax. watch netflix." Of course I listened and did as my mind said. I should really stop procrastinating though...

Macbeth Assessment
Active Involvement: 85% I give myself a 85 because I tried to put effort in the class and have a positive contribution to the discussion as best as I could.
Attitude: 85% I give myself a 85 because I think that I am having a good attitude towards the book regarding the fact that I have so much trouble comprehending everything in it.
Strategies: 75% I give myself a 75 because I don't think that I am pushing myself into looking into and trying the different strategies in reading this book. I just find myself waiting for people to make it clear for me and I'm going to change that so that I can learn more from the book.
Accountability: 75% I give myself a 75 because with the role play, I don't find myself acting and preforming as that character. I just have trouble acting in front of people because I get shy in front of them.
Overall Contribution: I give myself a 75% because I can do more into contributing to the class more with the readings. I feel that I need to ask more questions in class about the things that are confusing me.

Reading and Working Times:
60 mins of Anastasia's Secret and 60 mins of NC project
7. Some things are destined or fated to happen.
8. If something is destined to happen, it will happen without your interference.
I chose to respond to both of these quotes from the different choices of quotes. These two quotes relate to each other more rather than the other posts. I agree with both of these statements. Both of these quotes remind me of karma in a way. With post 7 "Some things are destined or fated to happen", and post 8, If something is destined to happen, it will happen without your interference." they are stating that everything that happens to you is bound to happen at some point. Either at good times or at bad times. I can relate these two poems to Macbeth with woman with not sharing the nuts that she was eating with one of the witches.
